Ping Guo draws from the artist’s childhood memory when the apple appeared as a ritual offering. The work transforms this monumental moment into a playful and participatory space. The apple—as fruit, as Fuji, as once fixed and solid idea—became entangled.

In Ping Guo, modular wooden blocks reconstruct this remembered scene, while a rotating circular platform carries multiple layers of meaning: an offering plate, a shared axis of interaction, and a pin on the map. Ping Guo invites viewers to rearrange, imagine, and co-author new narratives. In this ever-shifting field, the apple is no longer a fixed symbol, but a site where personal memory and collective imagination converge.
